

XXXV Expedition
During the XXXV expedition (October-November 2019), the following activities were performed:
At the Rittmann volcano:
1. Maintenance of permanent seismic-acoustic station, and data download.
2. Direct sampling in external fumarolic fields: completion of the chemical-isotopic mapping and verification of the organic matrix outliers.
3. Data transmission test between the Rittmann volcano and the radio link located on the top of Melbourne.

Activities at the Melbourne Volcano:
1. Direct sampling in external fumarolic fields: completion of the chemical-isotopic mapping and verification of the organic matrix outliers;
2. Ice-caves: installation of a permanent geochemical station in the Aurora cave, data transmission test from the cave station to MZS via a repeater at the top of Melbourne; completion of the exploratory and topographical activities of the smokeless systems; downloading of the temperature data at the Aurora cave, made available via a tinytag sensor, and comparisons with weather data of the Meteorological Observatory.
